A Plan Awry

In accordance with Darth Bane’s wishes, Darth Zannah yet again had slowly manipulated another small crime group from behind the scenes to take arms, resulting in them deciding to attack a train station, arming the trains with bombs and setting them to explode. Unfortunately, they acted before she could leave. Now Darth Zannah must escape undetected by the Crime Group, and the Jedi/Security Forces sent to quell the criminal’s attacks on the station before the station blows up!

Special Rules and Setup

A Plan Awry Set up

  1. Darth Zannah sets up in the red area.
  2. The Crime Gangs main squad sets up in the yellow area, while the 2 Bomb squads each set up in the brown areas. (Neither of the bomb squads can leave their respective bomb rooms (Brown Areas).
  3. The main squad of the Jedi and Security Forces sets up in the blue area. The security officer sets up in the larger orange area (Desk) in front of the chair and cannot move.
  4. There are many security camera’s (Marked by black lines) throughout the train station that transmit to an offsite location. Darth Zannah cannot enter any of these areas, or attack a character in any of these areas’s unless she kills the Corillian Security Officer and destroys the security console in the orange area.
  5. Darth Zannah automatically activates first every round, the other two sides roll normally for initiative.
  6. Stealth: (In addition to its actual glossary definition): If this character has cover, enemies not within 6 squares do not have line of sight to this character.
  7. Force Cloak: (In addition to its actual glossary definition): If this character has cover, non-adjacent enemies do not have line of sight to this character.
  8. Each character can “see” only what’s in “front” of him/her. The direction your character was last moving in determines the “front” of a character, while the opposite direction is your back.
  9. A character that’s adjacent to an enemy character cannot “see” anyone else but the adjacent enemy.
  10. Darth Zannah must kill any Crime Group, Jedi or Security Force character that “see” her before she can escape. (Look at rule 6, 7, 8 and 9 for help with “seeing”.)
  11. If the two bombs are not disarmed by the end of the eighth round, all characters on the map are defeated and the Crime Group automatically wins.
  12. Jedi, Security Force, or even Darth Zannah herself may disarm a bomb if there are no Crime Group figures inside the brown areas and by ending their turn inside a brown area.
  13. A character attacking another character from “behind” gets +4 attack and +10 damage added to the result. (See rule #7 with help with front/back)
  14. A character may open a door “on the move” at the cost of 2 movement on its turn. (Example lets say Darth Zanna moves 1 and opens a door, she can then only move 3 more and attack, or 9 more and not attack.) A character can open any number of doors on their turn as long as they have an additional 2 movement left to sacrifice.
  15. If Darth Zannah escapes, the Crime Group and the Jedi and Security forces can still also win as well by completing their victory conditions. (Therefore more than one side can win this scenario).


Victory Conditions

Sith
1) Bring Darth Zannah to the exit (Green area).
~OR~
2) Defeat the Crime Group and the Jedi/Security Force.

Crime Group
1) The Crime group must have at least one bomb still intact by the end of the eighth round.
~OR~
2) Defeat the Jedi and Security Force.

Jedi/Security Forces
1) Disarm the two bombs before the end of the eighth round and defeat the Crime Group


Defeat Conditions

Sith
1) Darth Zannah is defeated.

Crime Group
1) Both bombs are disarmed before the end of the eighth round.
~And!
2) All members of the group are defeated.

Jedi and Security Forces
1) The bombs are not disarmed by the end of the eighth round.
~OR~
2) All Jedi and Security Forces are defeated.
